Schnaps 0.7.0

  • New native General, Screenshots, Tolerance, and Appearance settings.
  • Customize measurement units, rounding, clipboard formats, aspect ratios, snapping, and live or frozen measurement.
  • Copy screenshots with C or save with P. Choose PNG/JPEG, Retina or 1x, padding, sounds, and optional CleanShot integration.
  • Adjust each tolerance preset and customize overlay colors, contrast, and light/dark appearance.
  • Choose Stable or Beta in About → Updates. Stable is the default; Beta opts into early builds and also receives newer stable releases.
  • New transparent liquid-glass bottle icon with blueprint measurement lines.

Manual area measurement still works without Screen Recording permission. Edge detection and screenshots require permission.

Switching from Beta to Stable waits for a newer stable build; it does not downgrade the installed app.

Universal for Apple Silicon and Intel. Requires macOS 14 or later.
