Changed

• docrev requires Node.js 20.16 or later. Its PDF reader, pdfjs-dist 5, requires that version, so engines declared Node 18 support that the dependency did not have. CI tests Node 20, 22 and 24.

Fixed

• A PDF built with characters its font lacks is reported. xelatex leaves such a character off the page and only notes it in its log; docrev build now lists the missing characters as a build warning (missingGlyphWarning).
• Windows paths in bibliography and csl survive. Pandoc reads header metadata as markdown, so in C:\Users\... every backslash segment parsed as a raw TeX command and vanished ("File C:Colling-in-ecology-and-evolution.csl not found"). Both paths are now written with forward slashes.
