Ability to query active jobs

Can we query the workflows table from Workflow component to see active tasks? It'd be useful to be able to query per-user or by other aggregations.

there's await workflow.status(ctx, workflowId) so if you save the workflowId into a table associated with the user, you can list the workflowId's - any shortcomings with that approach?

That'll work - then I'd use the onComplete to remove the active job. I am also wondering if it's possible to query table internal to a Convex Component or if that's an antipattern given your encapsulation guidelines.

It's not possible to query the internals directly - you'd need an explicit API to expose the data you want. Feel free to open an issue for those APIs! Generally the goal is to provide strict separation between the internals (which can represent data however it wants and change over time) and the API, which aims to be stable and a good abstraction
