@bosd bosd released this 24 Oct 09:51

Automation: a bot that keeps the upstream dashboard as an issue and proposes the routine work as pull requests, plus an action to run it nightly.

Bot

  • odx bot run: syncs a dashboard issue per series (label odx:dashboard) with the upstream dashboard and opens bot pull requests. Plans by default; --apply writes. --series, --max-prs, --remote.
  • odx bot dashboard, odx bot plan, odx bot act --from-issue: ticking a box on the dashboard issue mutes an entry or asks for its pull request.
  • Routine pull requests: drop-override, repin (odx lock --update) and auto-update are grouped in one pull request per kind, updated in place, and not proposed again once closed. [tool.odx.bot] auto picks the kinds.
  • Promotions by label: a merged pull request labelled promote gets a promotion pull request to each next environment.
  • vault_heads: the upstream heads a repin keeps are pushed to the mirror.

Forge

  • Issues, labels, comments and PATCH on the GitHub and Gitea/Forgejo APIs.

Action

  • getfluvo/odx@v0.0.7: installs odx and, with bot: true, runs the nightly cycle; outputs plan-json and dashboard-issue. See "Running the bot nightly" in docs/cli.md for the workflow, the Forgejo variant and the token scopes.

Security

  • ctutils 0.4.5 (RUSTSEC-2026-0385) and tokio 1.54.1 (RUSTSEC-2026-0386).

New crate: odx-bot.

Built with Rust & AI-accelerated engineering.
