Progress while odx works, a truly offline mode, a typed JSON contract for every command, and documentation by task.

Breaking

• Configuration keys that were accepted but never read are removed, and a configuration that sets one fails with an unknown-key error: http.cache_ttl, http.offline, cache.warm_worktrees, cache.ttl.{index,wheels,suggest,drift}, dashboard.show_backports, upgrade.{check_pypi,github_orgs}, port.{blacklist,migrate,rewrites}, suggest.mutes_file, platform.sbom and bot.group_prs.
• --json output follows the published schemas: keys come in schema order, and bot, promote, env, changelog, diff and glue print compact JSON like the other commands. migrate, port and port sweep carry schema: 1.
• The action at the repository root is removed. Use getfluvo/odx-action@v1; released tags such as getfluvo/odx@v0.0.8 keep working.

Progress and offline

• Progress on stderr while fetching and building; -v shows every step, -q only errors.
• --offline never fetches: a source that is not in the cache says so, instead of reaching the remote.

Configuration

• dashboard.sections, suggest.series and promote.with_code are read; odx promote --no-with-code overrides the last.
• A configuration reference generated from the schema, with every key's default.

JSON

• Every --json output has a JSON Schema under docs/json/, listed on the JSON output page with what a version change means.

First run

• odx import --write creates pyproject.toml when there is none, as in a git-aggregator project, and ends with the next step.
• A missing repos.yaml or pyproject.toml says how to go on; odx doctor's token warning names odx auth login and the host's variable; odx auth login prompts on a terminal.
• --help groups the global options, and aggregate, lock, add and import end with examples.

Fixes

• Presence files are locked before odx sync can see them; ports in the same clone take turns, in a clone with objects of its own that cache cleanup cannot take away.
• odx daemon run keeps its state while the user configuration is being written.
• The changelog's headings survive commit.cleanup = strip in promotion commits.
• A merge without history in common with its base says so, instead of a bare git merge-base error.
