This release makes stackit work out of the box with GitHub Enterprise Server and makes submit recover from interrupted PR updates.
Highlights
- GitHub credentials now resolve for your remote's host. Stackit asks
ghfor the token belonging to the host in youroriginURL (gh auth token --hostname <host>), and on GitHub Enterprise Server hosts prefersGH_ENTERPRISE_TOKEN/GITHUB_ENTERPRISE_TOKENoverGITHUB_TOKEN. GHES users no longer need aGH_HOSTworkaround. See the new "GitHub authentication" section in the README. stackit submitretries a PR write that failed after the push. Previously, if the branch push succeeded but the PR create/update failed, the nextsubmitsaw the branch as up to date and skipped it. Branches are now marked pending before pushing and cleared only once their PR write succeeds, so re-runningsubmitfinishes the job.split's commit editor now uses the same editor as the rest of stackit. It honorsGIT_EDITOR,EDITOR, andgit config core.editor, falling back tovi. Note:$VISUALis no longer consulted here, and the fallback changed fromvimtovi.
