v3.1.1 Release

Ghostable CLI 3.1.1 includes the Lerd environment passthrough support introduced in 3.1.0 and completes its npm and Homebrew distribution.

Run a Lerd command with values decrypted from a selected Ghostable environment, without writing a plaintext .env file:

ghostable env run --env local -- lerd php artisan migrate

env run and env shell provide LERD_PASSTHROUGH_ENV containing the names of the selected variables, including any --only filtering. Lerd uses those names to forward the inherited values into its command container.

Requires a Lerd release with environment passthrough support, such as 1.35.0. This applies to commands launched through Ghostable; it does not change the environment of Lerd-managed FPM web requests or existing workers.

Install or update:

npm install -g @ghostable/cli@latest

brew update
brew upgrade --cask ghostable-dev/ghostable/ghostable
