Release Notes

This release moves proteus to Scala 3.9.0 LTS. Previously, most modules were built with Scala 3.3 LTS and the Kyo backend with Scala 3.8 (Next). All modules are now built with 3.9.0, so you'll need Scala 3.9.0 or later to use this version.

It also includes a fix for the ZIO, fs2 and Kyo client backends: call options are now evaluated each time the effect runs rather than when it is built, so a per-call deadline like _.withDeadlineAfter(...) behaves correctly when an effect is retried or reused. Request metadata is also copied on each run instead of being shared and mutated by gRPC.
