SlackSpace is a web service that recieves webhook notifications from Rackspace monitors, translates the payload, and pushes the notifications to your Slack team on the channel of your choice. Setup is easy: No need to create incoming webhooks for your Slack team any more. Just sign in and pick the channels you want to receive notifications on. To learn more or try it out, go here.
The SlackSpace open-source app contains the core translation code to handle forwarding of webhooks between Slack and Rackspace. The open source code should still work just fine, however it will not be maintained any further. Integrations created with the demo app on Heroku will continue to work with the SlackSpace service.

Create an incoming webhook on Slack for your team.

Copy the URI path of the webhook, just the part with the encrypted key, including the slashes within, but not the 'http://host.domain.com' part. Ex: nfheus98Hnb/HYGGLPzy6/nNHJKC&BW6tgfcu

Create a webhook notification on Rackspace with this url:

Attach the Rackspace notification to an alarm of one of your Rackspace monitors. See the Rackspace Intelligence section of your account for API and help.
