This release expands the workflow-oriented gs CLI, adds shell completions for grit, improves smart-HTTP behavior, and tightens path handling around checkout/clone.

Highlights

• Added grit completions <shell> for Bash, Zsh, Fish, Elvish, and PowerShell.
• Added gs auth, a GitHub device-flow sign-in command for HTTPS fetch/push.
• Added gs config and the Windows gs manager credential helper, including automatic Windows credential-helper wiring.
• Updated gs commit so normal developer workflows stage all changes automatically: gs commit "message" and gs commit -am "message" both stage and commit.

• Fixed ls-files --full-name pathspec handling from subdirectories.

• Added checkout/clone validation for confusing or unsafe path components.
• Improved smart-HTTP redirect handling by re-basing follow-up requests after info/refs redirects.
• Silenced current cargo build warnings.

Infrastructure

• Added nightly install scripts and changed nightly builds to publish to a rolling prerelease without requiring gh.
• Added a workspace-only grit-test-support crate for shared integration-test runners, assertions, temp helpers, and fixture caching.
• Formatted workspace Rust files and bumped the workspace version to 0.4.8.
• Simplified the agent instructions in AGENTS.md.
