There is a note that mention Gemini 2.5 Pro is not currently available for Copilot Free. and just below this it mentions If you have a Copilot Free, Copilot Pro, or Copilot Pro+ subscription, you can enable Gemini in two ways:

Both statements looks contradictory, if 2.5 Pro is not available for Free, then perhaps it's not correct to start the second statement as if you have a copilot free, copilot pro ..., you can enable Gemini in two ways. Because at times it may cause confusion to some users, if somehow they miss the NOTE statement.

Thanks for opening an issue! The meaning here looks clear to me as long as you're aware there are multiple versions of Gemini, which you should be if you're thinking of using Gemini for Copilot. Skipping over call-outs is just a bad way to read through any documentation, they're specifically formatted to be noticeable, so I think that's on the users, not on us.

That said, if you have better phrasing to suggest, we're always open to having things phrased more clearly.

Thanks for considering. To make this even clearer and proactively address the potential confusion I mentioned, perhaps a slight rephrasing of the sentence following the note could help:

This small change clarifies that 'Gemini' refers to the models appropriate for the specific subscription tier, directly linking back to the information in the note and the introductory sentence mentioning both Gemini 2.0 Flash and 2.5 Pro.

Optionally, the note itself could also be slightly expanded for maximum clarity:
From:

Gemini 2.5 Pro is not currently available for Copilot Free.

To:

Gemini 2.5 Pro is not currently available for Copilot Free. Copilot Free users may still be able to enable other Gemini models, such as Gemini Flash.

This way, it's explicitly stated that Copilot Free users can enable some Gemini (Flash), just not 2.5 Pro, making the subsequent sentence about 'enabling Gemini' more robust against misinterpretation."
