Version, Operative system
macOS 12.6 (21G115)

Describe the bug
Upon increasing the terminal font cherrytree crashes.

To Reproduce
On MacOs, Preferences -> Fonts -> Terminal Font -> Change font/size
crash_report.txt

I reproduced it if the terminal was never shown in the session, I hope this is your case.
It is not macOS only, it affects all OSes.
Thanks for reporting. will be fixed in upcoming 0.99.53
