A bug-fix release for the native macOS app.
Fixes
- Background notifications now ask for permission at first launch. Before, they were silently dropped until the setting was toggled.
- Changing settings while files are processing no longer affects files already queued.
- Watched files that were blocked by a settings problem (for example an invalid App ID) are picked up automatically once the problem is fixed.
- Files you drop by hand from the watch folder are no longer converted a second time by the watcher, and the same file can't be queued twice.
- Renaming a package whose platform can't be detected keeps its
_m/_psuffix. - "DD" is added to a renamed file only when "DD" is a separate word in the original name, so names like
Kidd_…orAdded_…are no longer tagged. - Asking only for an App ID change on a package that has no App ID entry now skips the file and says why, instead of writing an unchanged copy.
- Files on network or removable drives are read in a way that can't crash the app if the file changes mid-read.
- The watch and output folders are compared correctly on case-sensitive drives.
- Dropping a folder with more than 10,000 packages now says that only the first 10,000 were added.
rsconvert-clirejects unknown options instead of treating them as file names, and accepts--before file names.
Requirements: macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
First launch: the app is not notarized. If macOS blocks it, open System Settings › Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
