what is inner http status address

Am running into following error:

./bin/go-mysql-elasticsearch -config=./etc/river.toml 
[2015/07/06 18:59:41] status.go:52 [Info] run status http server 127.0.0.1:12800
[2015/07/06 18:59:41] dump.go:107 [Info] try dump MySQL and parse
[2015/07/06 18:59:41] canal.go:133 [Error] canal dump mysql err: exit status 2

realized that I didn't change the 'Inner http status address' in ./etc/river.toml. But what does that mean exactly?

I don't know the error but guess that something may be wrong when mysqldump ran.
I have updated the code outputting mysql dump error if possible, can you update the code and help me to check again.

Thanks @siddontang, it is mysqldump permission issue as you said.
mysqldump: Couldn't execute 'FLUSH TABLES WITH READ LOCK': Access denied for user 'root'@'%' (using password: YES) (1045)
Seems like password is not parsed correctly from my config file. Potential bug?

You can use mysqldump command directly to check whether your username and password is permitted or not.

i can use mysqldump with no problem locally. Below is my river.toml:

do you add --master-data in your mysqldump for test?

We must get the next binlog position for later syncing, so to use --master-data but this may be not allowed in rds, bad news.
