Agentbits v0.11.0

Everything waiting for you now shows up in the project chat as a card: what waits, why, what is expected of you, and only the buttons that really apply.

Added

• "Needs you" cards in the chat. A run waiting for approval, a connection or app request, a held task, a review left to you and a merge waiting each appear as a card in #general and in the task thread, with the task's name first and its key last.
• Only real actions. Reject / Approve for a run; Try again for a held task (nothing the earlier attempt did is undone); Retry the review (the worker doesn't run again) or Run the worker again; Review changes and merge. A connection or app request opens the approval panel, where you decide with the full details; the chat has no approve button for it.
• How it ended. When the wait ends, every copy of the card says how (approved, rejected, expired, withdrawn, merged…) and its decision buttons go away. A request answered elsewhere or expired says so; a new wait gets a new card.

Changed

• The run approval card lists what the agent can really use with its provider (Claude Code, Codex and API providers differ, including folders outside the project). Approving widens nothing; if that list changes while the run waits, the approval doesn't count and the task is held.
• Every click is checked again by the app (the wait, the project, the action) and applied once, even when you also answer in the panel. Typing "ok" in the chat approves nothing.

Windows is the main target. The macOS packages open on a real Mac, but not every feature has been tried there yet. They are not signed by Apple: on first launch go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway (how).

• Node.js is not needed to run the app. Claude Code CLI and Codex CLI are not bundled: install and sign in separately (claude auth login, codex login).
• The installers are not code-signed yet. Windows SmartScreen will warn you: More info → Run anyway.
• Upgrading: close Agentbits and run the new installer over the old one; your data in %APPDATA%\Agentbits is kept. The database is upgraded on first launch (a copy is saved in the backups folder first), so make a backup first if you might go back to an older version (Settings → Data management).

Verify the download

SHA-256 checksums are in SHA256SUMS-windows.txt and SHA256SUMS-macos.txt. A checksum only shows the file was not corrupted; it is not a signature.
