Vigie reads agent session transcripts as they are written and lays them out: reasoning in a quiet ink, what the agent says, one row per tool call, and generated images/videos next to the step that made them. For Gemini CLI it follows
~/.gemini/tmp/*/chats; it also reads Claude Code, Codex CLI, OpenCode and Cursor. Open source (MIT), Rust + wgpu, local only: no account, no telemetry, the only network access is a click on a link. The Gemini reader follows the public description of the chat files (including the fact that the same message can come back several times, the last version winning), checked on sample transcripts, not on every Gemini CLI version. If a session shows up empty, I would like to hear which version you run.
What I am missing is real desktops. Windows is the reference. On GitHub's Linux and macOS runners it builds, passes its tests and renders a frame, but I do not own a Mac or a Linux machine, so nobody has used it there. If you have a Mac (Apple Silicon only) or a Linux desktop (x64, Vulkan driver), please try it and tell me what happens; an unsigned binary, with SHA-256 files on the release page.
I built Vigie by directing AI coding agents (Claude Code): I set the goals, made the design decisions and defined how each change would be checked, and reviewed the results; the agents wrote most of the code and the documentation.
