Problem with Installation with Pip

I have Python2 and Python3 both installed as I have to work with some applications that are still using python2. I tried running an install with pip install fire. However, it didn't work. Here is the traceback:

Does pip installing other modules work? It doesn't look like a fire issue from what you've posted.

From Googling the error, it looks like the solution might be to run brew unlink openssl && brew reinstall python@2.

So it wasn't an issue with Fire...it was an issue with Brew.
For some odd reason, I had some bad symlinks on my local machine and this caused the issue. I have since reinstalled python and removed the symlinks and performed a cleanup.
I can verify that I was able to install fire via pip. I assumed it was fire because I was still able to use pip to install and upgrade packages.
