Are there plans to release 0.7.0 on PyPi

I'd like to install graphframes 0.7.0 via pip but looks like that version isn't up on pypi. Is that going to happen?

This project is implemented in Scala, the Python code is loaded automatically. For code completion it might be nice to have a python package, but keeping the python code in sync with the jar will be source of much confusion both for this project and users.

AFAIK, we only publish releases to Spark Packages. We never published GraphFrames to PyPI. The current https://pypi.org/project/graphframes/ page was not created by us. @mullerhai do you own the page? Could you mark it as unofficial build to reduce confusion? Thanks!

@mengxr how could someone do a pip install of the latest version of grahframes (v0.8.1)? I've tried pip install "git+https://github.com/graphframes/graphframes.git@v0.8.1#egg=graphframes&subdirectory=python" but that did not work:

See #238, if you clone this repo and provide a simple setup.py like mentioned in that issue, then you can install the package locally with pip.

e.g. from my fork: pip install "git+https://github.com/PHPirates/graphframes.git@add-setup.py#egg=graphframes&subdirectory=python"

I see the page was claimed, yet the latest version on PyPi is 0.6. Are there plans to upload newer versions to there?

Starting with version 0.8.5 we are about to ship, the official package will be graphframes-py.
