Column:1 option not working #1572

Subject of the issue
grid1 column:1 doesn't work even though that is essentially what I end up with.
Your environment
gridstack v3.1.3 with gridstack-jq-js and gristack.min.css as only references.
Chrome v87.0.4280.141 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Expected behavior
Should work as the function intends.
Actual behavior
As noted by dev comment in the slack post, it does not work in grid1.
