Closetalk 1.3
What's new
- Pick your dictation key during setup. Any key or combo works, like fn or ⌃⌥Space. If you're updating, you keep right ⌘. Change it any time with Change dictation key… in the menu.
- Try Closetalk in about 30 seconds. On a first launch, a small sample model is ready right away while the full model downloads. It's less accurate, so setup tells you when the full model takes over.
- Clearer setup. Each step checks off once it's done, and the window comes back after you grant a permission in System Settings.
Fixes
- Changing the dictation key no longer crashes when you press a letter or Space.
- Turning on the microphone in System Settings after clicking Don't Allow now works without restarting.

Closetalk 1.2
What's new
- Pick your own dictation shortcut. Change shortcut… in the menu records any key or combo to hold, like fn, right ⌥ or ⌃⌥Space. Right ⌘ is still the default.
- A setup window on first launch. It walks through the microphone and Accessibility permissions, shows how long the one-time model setup has left, and lets you try a dictation before you start.
Closetalk 1.1 offers this update on its own. You can also choose Check for Updates in the menu.

- Drag-to-install DMG
- Checks for updates automatically
Requires a Mac with Apple Silicon, macOS 14 or later, and about 3 GB of disk for the speech model.
