DocuForge 1.1.0

Renamed from PDF Embed Forge to DocuForge (slug docuforge) with a unique code prefix, ready for the WordPress.org directory.

• New [docuforge] shortcode and the DocuForge PDF Embed block.
• The former [pdf-embed-forge] and [pdf-forge] shortcodes and the old block stay registered, so existing embeds keep working untouched.
• Same lightweight native-viewer embedding, no external services.

PDF Embed Forge 1.0.5

Minor polish: the mobile "View full screen" button is now shorter and stays on a single line.

PDF Embed Forge 1.0.4

Embed PDFs directly inside your posts and pages with a block or the [pdf-embed-forge] shortcode.

What's new in 1.0.4

• Mobile now shows the PDF's first page with a centred View in Full Screen button (like PDF Embedder's mobile mode), using the preview image WordPress generates on upload. Falls back to a document icon when the host can't make a preview. No bundled library.

PDF Embed Forge 1.0.3

Embed PDFs directly inside your posts and pages with a block or the [pdf-embed-forge] shortcode.

What's new in 1.0.3

• Mobile: on phones the inline frame is swapped for a tap-to-open card that opens the PDF in the device's native full-screen viewer, sidestepping the cramped frame and iOS Safari's unreliable inline rendering. Desktop keeps the inline viewer. Pure CSS, no JavaScript.

PDF Embed Forge 1.0.2

Embed PDFs directly inside your posts and pages with a block or the [pdf-embed-forge] shortcode.

What's new in 1.0.2

• Renamed to PDF Embed Forge, with the [pdf-embed-forge] shortcode (the old [pdf-forge] shortcode still works).
• Wide and Full width block alignment now break the viewer out of the content column.
• Expanded how-to docs, and a bundled translation template.
• Added plugin icon and banner assets.

PDF Forge 1.0.1

Embed PDFs directly inside your posts and pages with a block or the [pdf-forge] shortcode.

Highlights

• Full-width viewer that fits the page to its width and hides the thumbnail sidebar for a clean read.
• Gutenberg block with a live preview, plus a [pdf-forge] shortcode for the classic editor and templates.
• Height and toolbar controls; uses the browser's own PDF viewer, so nothing is sent off-site.
• Ko-fi and contact links on the Plugins row.
• WordPress.org-ready: proper readme.txt, GPL-2.0, escaped output, unique prefix.
