Knowing how to use the command-line interface (CLI) could be considered a fundamental ability to work in Data Science and related areas. As part of the class "Introduction to Public Health Data Science" at USC, I created this repository including examples of--for the moment--basic CLI operations.
Of course, this is not the first CLI cheat sheet, so here is a list of a couple of other projects I've found around:
- Command Line Cheat Sheet: A command-line cheat sheet. (CLI is not a scary place!)
- cheat.sh: the only cheat sheet you need
Contributions are welcome and should be done through Pull Requests. The project is built using the rocker/tidyverse:4.1.0 Docker image. The only files that should be edited are those in the source
folder, which are Rmarkdown
files.
Please note that the cli-cheat-sheet project is released with a Contributor Code of Conduct. By contributing to this project, you agree to abide by its terms.
