📢 An Update About Updates!

I'm thrilled to share the latest release of Assessment Bot (formerly Google Slides Assessor). Recognising that many educational institutions block API access, I've developed the UpdateManager to help you update the tool without relying on the AppScript API.

🚀 What's New

• Automated Admin Sheet Update:

  • The UpdateManager copies the latest version of the Admin Google Sheet from [this location](https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1G6rSbWencEffTp3gJJH9Bv2Ef8cZFpfB), ensuring you have the most recent code bound to the sheet.

• Comprehensive Data Migration:

  • On your original Admin Sheet, the tool:
    • Transfers all DocumentProperties and ScriptProperties to a new sheet.
    • Duplicates all sheets, including the one containing script and document properties, to the updated admin sheet.
    • Opens the newly updated Admin Sheet.
    • Moves the original sheet to an 'Archive' folder for future reference.
    • Prompts you to close the original sheet to prevent confusion.

• Enhanced New Admin Sheet Setup:

  • On the new Admin Sheet, the tool:

    • Restores document and script properties from the sheet back to the relevant properties store and removes the temporary sheet.

    • Guides you through the update process for Assessment Records using a wizard🧙‍♂️.

At the end of this process, the new versions will replace the old ones, which will be stored in an 'Archive' folder for your records.
