The Scene Viewer functionality needs to be restored in the 3ds Max Plasma Plugin.

The SceneViewer uses a bunch of classes that don't seem to exist anywhere. I don't honestly think it's been updated since 2003 (and sometimes I wonder if it's ever been updated past Plasma 1). It's also possible that Cyan neglected to open-source the needed classes.

Regardless, it's going to require a lot of reimplementing to get this thing to even compile, and from what I've heard it never worked with any sort of reliability.

With that in mind, this isn't much of an issue, it's more of a non-urgent feature request.

What the crap, sorry, I didn't mean to close the issue.

At this point it's unlikely the scene viewer will ever be fixed. More likely we're just going to remove it from the source tree. I'm going to close this as "won't fix".
