The first public build of HTCUT — the video editor your AI can drive. You edit in the app; Claude Code edits the same project from the terminal, live, every change undoable.

Download: htcut.hanley.world/download (free — confirm your email and the download starts). Apple Silicon, macOS 15 or later. Signed and notarized by Apple.

Get started

  1. Open the DMG and drag HTCUT to Applications.
  2. Open HTCUT and choose HTCUT ▸ Set Up Claude Code… (installs the htcut command and the Claude skill), or add the plugin in Claude Code: /plugin marketplace add hanley-tech/htcut then /plugin install htcut@htcut.
  3. Transcripts, captions and voice match need speech recognition: HTCUT ▸ Settings ▸ Add-ons (about 2.5 GB, once). htcut doctor shows what's set up.
