Added

  • Add bindings for the HarfBuzz draw API (draw_funcs) (PR #34, thanks simoncozens)
  • Add support for building against a system HarfBuzz via pkg-config when the build-native-harfbuzz feature is disabled

  • Breaking Drop the harfbuzz-sys dependency. HarfBuzz 14.6.0 is now compiled directly by this crate from the bundled submodule.

Fixed

  • Fix undefined behavior (signed integer overflow in HarfBuzz) when calling Font::set_scale with i32::MIN (issue #51). Scale values are now clamped to ±2^20.
  • Fix undefined behavior when accessing the data of an empty Blob (Blob::get_data, Deref, AsRef<[u8]>). HarfBuzz returns a null pointer for zero-length blobs, which was passed to slice::from_raw_parts.
