Come up with a better way to handle events

Linking to one event from meetup.com per day isn't that great. I think making a more robust solution that takes less effort in the long term wouldn't be too hard.

I don't have the time to develop a more robust solution for this. If anyone else wants to do this, I would be happy to provide advice.
