Version 3.0.0 supports Flutter 3.47 / Dart 3.13 and updates the native notification API to flutter_local_notifications 22.3.2. The example uses standalone material_ui 1.8.0 and verifies a cupertino_ui 1.1.4 consumer. Existing PlatformNotifier facade method signatures are retained; direct native-plugin calls now use named arguments.

  • Fix native initialization, permission handling, notification IDs, Android channels/actions, disposal, and example subscription lifetimes.
  • Use the native Windows backend with stable configurable application identity, launch details, and cancellation.
  • Use page-scoped browser notifications with click payloads, replacement, cancellation, and JavaScript/WASM compilation.
  • Migrate Apple examples to Swift Package Manager and UIScene, and Android to AGP 9 built-in Kotlin. Generated plugin registrants are no longer tracked.

Validation: formatting and analysis; 31 package tests; five Material/Cupertino example tests; API documentation with zero warnings/errors; JavaScript and WASM web builds; Android ARM64 debug APK with JDK 17; clean iOS simulator and macOS debug builds; clean-checkout publish dry run with zero warnings.

Browser permission and notification API calls were exercised in Chrome with no console warnings/errors. The real macOS OS-notification click test remains unverified because desktop automation cannot reach Notification Center. Native Windows/Linux runtime delivery and native device UI were not exercised. Web notifications require HTTPS/localhost, supported desktop browsers, and an open page; service-worker/background delivery is not implemented.

See the README and MIGRATION_GUIDE.md for setup and compatibility changes.
