YIKES! Student comments appear to disappear #115
Comments
Hi Marc, Can you give me an example of a student that is facing this problem and in which reading? The one I checked is reading 13. |
Hi Jumana,
I see six comments in reading 13 for Class A. The last time I checked there were 4. Prior to that, however, I could find other comments. One student, Alyssa Ramirez I know posted - because I searched and saw her comments earlier - but I don’t see them now. Except for one comment in lecture 15. I’m pretty sure she made more.

Hi Marc,
I can see all comments. I even compared the number of comments appearing online and the ones in the database and it's the same number. I noticed that some students chose to make their comments only visible to instructors. Also, for now, NB and ad blockers don't work well. Some ad blockers and plugins interfere with the page and as a result some highlights are misplaced when you load the page again.
Can you give me an example of a student that is facing this problem and in which reading? The one I checked is reading 13.

problem was resolved when cache was cleared. |
The disappearing comments issue has resurfaced.
A couple of days ago a student told me that they could no longer see their comments. I logged in and could see them. Told the student not to worry.
Tonight I log in and MANY comments I know were there before no longer appear.
