The first signed Shybun: one key mutes every mic and the Shybun camera, and a badge shows what Windows reports.
Try it
- Press Win+Shift+Q in any app. Every mic mutes and the badge says so; press it again to unmute.
- On Windows 11, choose Install the Shybun camera... in the tray menu, then pick "Shybun camera" in your meeting app.
- Press the key on a call and watch your preview switch to the camera-off image.
- One key, every mic: it mutes every mic Windows lists, from any app, without moving focus.
- A badge you can trust: it shows what Windows reports, and says so when it can't confirm a device is quiet.
- New mics join muted: a headset plugged in while you're muted is muted when it appears.
- Signed, and updates itself: an update waits until no app is using a mic or a camera, and a tick in the tray menu turns updates off.
Heads-up
- A test release before 1.0: winget comes with 1.0. If the badge and a device disagree, the bug template asks for both.
- SmartScreen may warn at first: the signing certificate is new and has no download reputation yet.
- Tested, not yet seen live: a mic plugged in while muted, and the badge without the Shybun camera installed.
