Staypaw 1.1 keeps itself up to date.

Try it

1. Run staypaw-setup-win-x64.exe and click Update if 1.0 is installed.
2. Right-click the paw: Update automatically is ticked.
3. Carry on. Later versions install themselves, never while your protected app is in front.

What's new

• Updates itself: it checks GitHub Releases a minute after it starts and every 4 hours, and downloads in the background.
• Waits for your game: it restarts into an update only once your protected app isn't in front.
• Off switch: untick Update automatically in the tray menu.

Heads-up

• The update check is now Staypaw's one network call. It asks GitHub for a newer version and sends nothing else. The code that sees your keys still can't reach the network, and a test keeps it that way.
• 1.0 can't update itself, so this one install is by hand.
• The portable zip never updates itself.
• The exe is bigger, 24.0 MB instead of 17.9 MB, for the update code.
