v7.87.1
Pairs with engine-service-v0.1.165 (REQUIRED_ENGINE_VERSION unchanged from 7.87.0). A plugin-only release cut off the 7.87.0 tag through the plugin-only fast lane (nexus-rbmja): the nx code is 7.87.0's, and only the conexus-tool-spill mod changes.
Fixed
- conexus-tool-spill keeps its spill directory private on a shared box (nexus-a9e7j). The spill files hold full command output, and on a Linux box several users share they sat in a world-readable
/tmpdirectory. Each spill now first makes the directory owner-only (mode 700) through/bin/sh, since the mod's file write takes no mode. A symbolic link, a file, or a directory another user owns in its place turns spilling off for the session with one toast, and output then passes whole. On Windows a drive or UNC temp path runs no process and spills as before.tool-spill/hooks/register.ts,tool-spill/README.md. - conexus-tool-spill no longer re-cuts a Bash read of its own spill file (nexus-i9a1p). Following the note with
sed -n,headorgrepon the saved file produced an output over the limit that was cut and saved again, so a long output could take several nested spills to read. A Bash command that names the spill directory (claude-tool-spill-<user>, in any spelling: the full path,$TMPDIR/..., acdinto it, either separator) now passes whole up to 4 timeslimit(16 KB by default); a larger read is cut and saved like any other, so nothing is lost when an unrelated command happens to name the directory. The note now says to read a slice with the Read tool, which the mod never cuts.tool-spill/hooks/register.ts,tool-spill/README.md.
