Highlights

  • Pi and omp cancellation/progress: supported retrieval, graph, and indexing tools now receive host cancellation. Indexing reports real phase/count/percentage updates and preserves cancellation and stall interruptions.
  • OpenCode cancellation: propagate abort signals through shared operations and the v2 bridge; preserve PR-impact interruptions and reject pre-aborted knowledge-base mutations.
  • Task-specific retrieval guidance: align OpenCode, MCP, Pi, omp, Codex prompts, portable hooks, and bundled skills. Use compact context for unfamiliar orientation; use direct symbol/graph tools for already-scoped tasks.

Includes #406. No public tool/schema, ranking, native implementation, storage-format, dependency, or runtime-floor changes. MCP cancellation/progress was already supported and remains unchanged.

Release checks

  • Full delta since v0.35.1 reconciled; source PR reviewed without actionable findings.
  • No open PRs at preparation; Dependabot, code-scanning, and secret-scanning alert boards empty.
  • Release build/typecheck/lint/full test gate passed: 2,577 tests passed, 6 skipped; built CLI smoke passed.
  • Release PR #407 and merged-main CI/CodeQL passed on daf9c2d1f058628d2437cbcacd8c5c3708999983; release tag targets that commit.
  • Build and Publish succeeded: both packages published with all six native binaries, including best-effort Windows ARM64.
  • Registry versions and latest tags are 0.35.2 for both names; npm audit signatures verified package signatures and attestations.
  • Both clean installs: production audit 0 vulnerabilities; ESM/CJS entrypoints, all four CLI names, MCP initialize/tools/list (19 tools), and native parse dry-run passed.

Known limits

Cancellation is cooperative and cannot interrupt synchronous native work already executing. This release does not claim a retrieval-ranking improvement. Windows ARM64 is best-effort in the existing release workflow; availability will be recorded after publication.
