I certainly can't answer the question about whether the feature can be added, but here is the process I've used in the past to handle this use case. |

Thanks - and thanks @makinglayerschannel for the workaround video. You are right, there is nothing for this yet: "on arc" for text lays the letters flat along a circle, like on a coin or a lid, it does not wrap anything around a cylinder wall. I'll build it: an imported SVG gets a setting to wrap it around a cylinder of a given diameter. The relief stands up and bends around the axis, and like curved text its centre is the centre of the circle, so centring it on your cylinder puts it right on the wall - raised as a solid, or engraved as a hole. I'll post here when it is in. |

This is an awesome feature! |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
there have been so many times in tinkercad where I imported an SVG pattern and wanted to wrap this around a cylinder and it has been extremely frustrating to try various workarounds which often involve many steps and often do not properly curve the model around.
The text shape already has 'on arc' controls that allow for control over this. Can it pleeeeeease be added to svg imports?
Unless this has already been added, I have tried to find controls for this but have not found any in Layerling yet.
