@KimA998 Thanks for the screenshots. The 193 MB in Task Manager is after the crash, when the tab was already closed, so it doesn't show how much memory layerling used while loading. layerling works with real CAD bodies where it can, not with triangle meshes. A CAD body is a short description: a cylinder is a circle, a height and a position; a rounded edge is one curved face. That is a few numbers. A mesh is an approximation made of thousands of triangles, and the smoother it is, the more triangles it needs. One hole already takes hundreds, a detailed part tens of thousands. That is kilobytes against many megabytes, and everything has to sit in memory and be drawn. A Tinkercad export is only meshes, and 86 MB of meshes is a lot for one browser tab. I'd like to find out why the saved design crashes on opening. You don't need to open it for that: on the start page, click "Back up all". That saves all designs of this browser in one file without opening them. Could you upload that file somewhere (Dropbox, Google Drive) and post the link here? Then I can open it and see where the memory goes. Until then, these may help: close other tabs, and split the plane into a few smaller designs instead of one big one. |

I can open all my files in FireFox (web version) Firefox will not allow me to install LL APP.
I can backup my files in FireFox. Shitty Chrome!!!!!
Here is a link to my dropbox with the backup (Please do NOT make the files PUBLIC!)

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
I have exported a TC project and saved it both a single file and in smaller files, but the result is the same. OUT OF MEMORY.
The single file was 86 MB and the un-zipped files 132 MB.
I can import the smaller files one by on and save the complete project, but when I try to reopen it LL crashes every time.
You ca see in task manager that Chrome only are using 193 MB of memory.
