@KimA998 thank you. The CAD kernel gets a fixed time to build a sketch, and your profile, an SVG outline with very many points made into a stroke and then swept along the path, needed more than that. Your picture shows how dense the outline is: each little piece between two points becomes faces of its own all the way along the path. For the next version I made three changes: a sweep now gets two minutes instead of 30 seconds; when the time is up, the kernel is stopped properly, so the next try does not have to wait behind the old one (it used to keep working in the background); and the message says what helps instead of the bare "OpenCascade timed out". What helps right away is an outline with fewer points: export the SVG from its original drawing (not from a mesh or an STL), where round parts are curves with a few nodes each. To see exactly why your sketch takes so long, could you send me a bug report? Open the sketch, click Bug report at the bottom of the page and attach the file it saves here. It holds the sketch, so I can build the same sweep. |

BTW the SVG file is made direct from TC.

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
The sketch is a SVG file made to a stroke.
Then added the path and tried to sweep it.
Clicked Finish Sweep then this message.
