@raradek Cut out is in 1.113.0. Select the two bodies and click Cut out in the Combine area: the smaller one stays as the part, the other gets its shape as a cavity, and the clearance field makes the cavity larger all round (0.2 mm is a usual value for a printed fit). |

For all precisely fitted/mating parts like shafts, collars, bolts, connectors, sleeves, cases etc we often model the "male" part and then subtract it (making it a hole) from the "female" part. But with the applications i mentioned the "hole" object is actually a solid part of the project that is meant to exist as a solid so we need to make a copy, make it a hole, align it back with the original and then subtract.
It would be great if we could have a command to do this with two solids where the procedure i described would happen internally.
I've had this idea some time ago already but as it is perfectly doable today, I didnt post. But i feel this would actually go really well with this suggestion where we could add an offset (clearance) to the subtraction and get two perfectly matching parts with clearance in one click: #919 (and i see this one is already implemented before i finished this post :D )
