v0.8.227
HyperFrames v0.8.227
Released on 2026-11-01.
Apps can upload a project's heavy media themselves and keep each asset id. Check and snapshot use about half the memory on films cut from many clips. GPU renders work on older NVENC builds.
Features
- CLI: The api exports offloadHeavyMedia and every offloaded file reports its asset_id (ef250cc9d, #6932).
Fixes
- Engine: GPU renders use the NVENC preset names the host's ffmpeg lists (90f7fe624, #6930).
- Studio: Opening the thumbnail browser no longer stalls the server to read its version (a23cc59ee, #6931).
- CLI: The cut detector keeps real cuts in live footage (69400df27, #6923).
- CLI: Check and snapshot free video clips the playhead left, halving memory on cut films (6b3e7a7a9, #6929).
- CLI: A shot from --first-frame comes back in that frame's shape (439d01784, #6924).
- Core: A resized preview video keeps its picture while its new copy loads (af0d68d61, #6922).
- Engine: A video with no source no longer holds capture for 45 seconds (9aaa3ae67, #6926).
- Engine: Passthrough keeps frame count and accepts films whose audio outlasts the picture (58428b44b, #6920).
- Studio Server: A copy another process holds without progress ends in a named error (e5887959b, #6918).
- CLI: Snapshot warns when self-closed audio or video clips have swallowed the page (8c22ddba0, #6915).
