A bug-fix release for the video object removal setup.

What's fixed in 1.0.1

  • ProPainter setup finds your Python. Set Up… now finds a Python installed from python.org or with Homebrew, instead of reporting that none is installed. It uses Python 3.10 to 3.14 and prefers 3.12.
  • Clear message for Python 3.15. Some of ProPainter's packages are not built for Python 3.15 yet. If that is the only Python on your Mac, setup now says so and asks you to install Python 3.12 from python.org. Both versions can be installed side by side.

The first public release of Framelume: crop, clean up and watermark photos and videos, right on your Mac. Everything runs locally; nothing is uploaded.

What's in 1.0

  • Liquid Glass design. Floating glass panels over a backdrop drawn from your own picture (real Liquid Glass on macOS 26 and later, translucent materials on older systems).
  • Many files at once. Drop in a whole folder: a file list with thumbnails and edit badges, a shared Watermark and Info tab for the selected files, and an export queue with per-file progress.
  • Edit presets. Fix one photo, save the steps (spot removal, watermark, crop, metadata) as a preset and apply it to every selected file.
  • AI object removal for photos. Paint over a logo, sticker or blemish and the LaMa model fills it in, running on your Mac with Core ML. The model (about 190 MB) is downloaded once from Settings › Object Removal.
  • AI object removal for video. ProPainter rebuilds the painted area from the other frames, and Track makes the mask follow a moving object. Optional one-time setup from inside the app.
  • Dust removal with Lighten (gain map) or Fill (inpainting), crop and straighten with ratio presets and auto-horizon, perspective and flip.
  • Watermark with text or a logo, sized as a share of the width and placed on a 3×3 grid.
  • Metadata: view, edit or strip Exif, IPTC, TIFF and GPS, or video tags.

Exports are saved next to the original under a new name; the original is never overwritten.
