Diff shows by default the filename rather than the absolute path to the file

One improvement would be to make the script show the absolute path to the file - this is the default behaviour in git diff.

Ah- you mean the relative path instead of the filename? I had thought that was the case already, but looks like it isn't. Would be happy to merge a pull that changes it to use a/relative/path instead.
