Supported Node Versions

  • This plugin officially supports Node v22, v24 and v26 - any other major version is not supported

  • On v22, you need v22.12.0 or later

  • The recommended version is the latest LTS release, currently v26. On 32-bit ARM systems, use the latest v22 - Node.js v24 and later have no 32-bit ARM builds:

    node version

Updating Node

  • See the How To Update Node.js article on the Homebridge wiki.
  • If you use the Homebridge UI, you can also update Node from the UI itself (a banner is shown when an update is available).
