There is this transparency glitch when watching videos on the native elementaryOS video player. Either the video playback is transparency or the video player itself turned transparency.
I am 100% positiv that is caused by Arc-theme, because this glitch won't appear in elementary's stock theme.
I can confirm this. It seems that the player doesn't play nice with the transparency. I tried to disable the transparency only for audience, but it didn't work because the application window doesn't have a custom toplevel class.
The only possible solution that comes to my mind is to disable the transparency completely.
You can build the theme without transparency with ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr --disable-transparency
