  • Fixed: a plugin or theme that keeps part of its own code in a folder named cache,
upgrade, backup or backups (Smush and Elementor among them, and many plugins that
bundle libraries) arrived at Hostney without that folder, and the migrated site
showed WordPress's critical error page. These folders are now skipped only where
WordPress keeps caches, update files and backups: directly inside wp-content.
  • Added: the file list now tells Hostney when a very large site reached the file limit,
and which folders and files could not be read on your server, instead of leaving them
    out silently.

Requirements

  • WordPress 5.0+ (tested up to 7.1)
  • PHP 7.4+
