Arc 2.8.0 makes implementation assurance proportional to risk.
Highlights:
- Adds Lean, Standard, and Guarded assurance postures with explicit risk floors and escalation rules.
- Replaces repeated per-task handoffs with end-to-end behavioral slice ownership and evidence by work kind.
- Adds durable execution baselines, resumability, dirty-worktree overlap protection, and session-local verification receipts.
- Consolidates final review into whole-implementation spec and standards axes with Guarded specialists when applicable.
- Preserves legacy plans, authority gates, drift detection, generated Codex packaging, and user-controlled commits.
Validation: 447 prompt-contract tests, lint and formatting, manifest validation, version audit, and Codex mirror freshness all passed.
