Du Toit did Master's thesis proposal presentation
- Profs were a bit concerned about the scope which seems very broad
- Packages suitable for eval: lxml, mtrand
- Du Toit started to look into Cython/HPy (based on Matti's and Florian's previous changes)

C API Working Group
- Matti met Irit at PyCon Isreal; Irit will review and summarize all issues in the repo
- There are three tracks in the repo:
  - CPython-external C ext API (e.g. HPy)
  - Mark Shannon's New C API
  - Victor Stinner's incremental C API transformation
