v1.24
New
dpunkt_V05 template — targets dpunkt's accessibility (BFSG) template dpunkt_V05.dotm. It renames nearly every custom style of dpunkt_2019, so the two are not interchangeable, and it uses one listing style per programming language (Listing Java, Listing Python, …) picked from the language on the code fence.
Index entries become Word XE fields. Where a template asks for them through the new index_entries setting, {i: ...} entries are converted to the fields Word builds an index from. dpunkt_V05 is the only template asking for them so far; every other template drops entries as before. The Markua index syntax is supported as spec.txt §11.24 defines it — quoted or bare terms, levels separated by !, the \! \| \{ \} \\ escapes, inline emphasis carried into the field, code spans dropped, |see and |seealso references, and entries sitting in a larger attribute list.
--no-language-listings — puts every listing in the template's standard listing style instead of the one for its language, for publishers who ask for one listing style throughout. In the GitHub Action it is the new no-language-listings input.
Changed
Numbered-list styles follow an item's position, not the number written in the manuscript. Markdown lets every item read 1., and many manuscripts are written that way; those lists previously got the first-item style throughout. Items numbered 10. or higher matched no rule at all and stayed raw Markdown. Both are fixed, for every template.
Fixed
These affect all templates, not only the new one:
- An index entry carrying a
|seeor|seealsoreference nests another{i:...}inside itself, which the pattern recognising an entry did not account for — so those entries left markup like"}in the finished book. - An escaped brace inside a term, and an entry sitting beside other attributes (
{id: #myid, i: "blah"}), were not recognised as entries either, and were printed verbatim. - A numbered list next to an empty-style div could take it for a list continuation, in templates that define no
BL_CONstyle.
Upgrading
action.yml gained the no-language-listings input, so pin @v1.24 to reach it:
- uses: hschwentner/fatpub@v1.24
with:
template: dpunkt_V05
in: manuscript/book.txt
out: out/book-dpunkt_V05.mdWord needs an INDEX field somewhere in the document to build an index from the XE fields; that still has to be added by hand.
Thanks to @nilshartmann for #1.

v1.23
Fix table/box rendering, support native table numbering, localize callouts
- Recognize continuation paragraphs inside boxes indented with 3 spaces
(extracts lose one space of indentation when converted to asides),
fixing dropped "Antwort" paragraphs in Q&A-style boxes. - Rewrite I>/T>/W> callouts block-wise so a multi-paragraph callout gets
one title instead of one per line, and stray >/I>/T>/W> markers no
longer leak into the rendered output. - Make callout titles (NOTE/TIP/WARNING) configurable per template via
newnote_title/tip_title/warning_titlesettings, defaulting to
the previous English words; set to Hinweis/Tipp/Warnung for the
dpunkt templates. - Support unnumbered
Table: Caption {#tbl:...}captions so
pandoc-crossref can auto-number and auto-link tables the same way it
already does for figures and listings; exclude such captions from the
generic paragraph-wrapping rules so they stay adjacent to their table
block, which pandoc-crossref requires to recognize the pairing. - Move numbered-table anchors onto the caption's own div so
pandoc-crossref cross-references resolve to real bookmarks, and
captions no longer show literal{#tbl:...}braces in the output. - Fix numbered-table cross-reference links losing the dash before the
slug (#tbl:7.1bewertung...instead of#tbl:7.1-bewertung...).
