TvennDB 1.0.1
TvennDB Free 1.0.1: the sharded, versioned, ontology-enforced graph
database for industrial digital twins, by Hubbiot AB. Tell us what you build
with it, and what breaks, in the
issues.
TvennDB Free is free to use, also in production and commercially, under the
Elastic License 2.0:
you may not offer it to others as a hosted or managed service.
What is in TvennDB Free
GQL, the ontology and its versions, indexes, named graphs, vector and full
text search, history and time travel, sharding, Raft replication,
transactions across shards, backup and restore (also to S3), users, API
keys, roles per graph, membranes, the MCP endpoint, events and webhooks,
import and export, the Explorer, the Helm chart and Prometheus metrics.
TvennDB Enterprise, not yet available, adds single sign on, the audit log,
usage reports, rate and size limits per key, and online rebalancing and
partition moves. On TvennDB Free their API routes answer 501, and
tvenndb-gateway --version names the edition.

New in this release
- The Explorer in the TvennDB look. The Explorer at
/ui/carries the
TvennDB logo, colours and fonts, following the Hubbiot Design System.
Everything it needs is built into the gateway, so it still loads nothing
from the internet. - Change your password in the Explorer. Password, next to Sign out,
changes the password of the signed-in user.
Fixed
- An old session no longer blocks sign-in. A browser that kept the
session cookie of an earlier TvennDB, for instance a container started
again without its data, gotsession expired or invalideven on the
sign-in page. The Explorer now shows its sign-in, as for a new visitor.
No API, data format or configuration change: upgrade from 1.0.0 by changing
the image tag.

New since 1.0.0-rc.4
- arm64. The images are built for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64 (for
example AWS Graviton, Ampere servers, or Docker on Apple silicon);
docker pullpicks the right one. Static binaries for both are attached. - Signed. The images and
SHA256SUMSare signed with Hubbiot AB's
release key,release-key.pub; see Verify below. - Fixed. A node's history read in pages showed the oldest version of
each page as if every property were new, and a comment after a returned
expression became part of its column name.
