Error building site

I am trying to deploy an initial version of my site, but when I run the command hugo -D --gc, I receive this error message:

Can you please share the steps that you took before running hugo -D --gc ?
I wish to know how you have setup your Hugo site.

at least:

• hugo version
• theme version
• site config
