0.9.10
0.9.10 fixes silent content loss during intent assembly and clarifies how to use native styling.
Changes
- Preserve nested lists inside list items. (#133)
- Reject malformed nodes, children and consumed list/table shorthand with input paths, rather than returning partial content. (#135)
- Reject unregistered block names in both normal and strict mode. (#136)
- Warn when Gutenberg discards explicitly supplied attributes. Reports include the attribute key and input path, without raw values. These warnings remain informational in strict mode. (#137)
- Correct the installed skill and reference guidance for native styles, theme presets, text alignment, layout and headerless tables. Add a sequential
realize()example and allow verified theme conventions to override generic mapping advice. (#138, #139)
Upgrading
Unknown block names previously produced a warning and partial output. They now fail: realize() returns an unsuccessful report with empty output, and low-level assemble() rejects. Check the report before writing content.
Refresh an installed project skill with npx block-runner@0.9.10 skill --install to pick up the corrected guidance.
Verification
The clean release candidate passed the full release matrix, including 751 tests (four existing skips), packed consumers, skill installation and WordPress 7.1 generated-plugin proof. CI passed Node 20.19/22.13/24 and WordPress proof. The publishing workflow repeats the release matrix before npm publication. The optional model benchmark remains unscored. Existing scoped WordPress Heading/Paragraph editor accessibility exceptions remain; this release does not establish destination-theme or real-project acceptance.
