WRAP Version 2.0.0 Release Notes

We are thrilled to announce the release of WRAP (Wide-field Retrieval of Astrodata Program) version 2.0.0. This update brings significant improvements to the internal codebase, enhancing overall performance and addressing various user-reported bugs.

Key Features:

  • .pkg Java File: Compiled a .pkg file for mac users, removing terminal based requirements
  • SDSS Addition: Added SDSS DR16 as an additional catalog

Bug Fixes:

  • VHS API: Reworked the VISTA Hemisphere Survey image API with new link
  • pip Dependencies: Removed the need for users to download particular pip dependencies

KEY NOTE: WINDOWS EXECUTABLES IS STILL BEING DEVELOPED (PLEASE USE WRAP v1.5.0)
